painting last night

I did a couple more paintings in class last night, one being a copy and the second being a free-style in the same vein as the first. Starting to feel more relaxed. Donovan, who is instructing, got to work with R. Crumb to colour some of his early black and white strips for reprint back in the 80s when he was working at a comic printer/publisher. Very exciting brushes with greatness.

At an opening at the Hague this evening. Between my stuffed up head (alergies) and the two layers of music/sfx and the growing conversational crowd, I could not understand every second word and all conversation became just annoying noise. The little sound booth was cool for photos with its horror lighting and turntable.
