Early last night, to my surprise, I found myself sitting by a hot fire, sipping on a steaming coffee, while others moaned about the 33 degree heat of the day. I think the fire made the rest of the air seem cooler. We had friends over for a nice evening. I don't have photos because the kids took the cameras and shot some epic project that I've not looked at yet.
